Don’t Fall in Love With Any One Deal

Your house is for sale.

A potential buyer comes along. You are happy. You let the buyer know that you’d love to sell to him. You don’t look for other offers.

Ridiculous, you say?

Yes, I agree, you’d never do that with your house, but physicians do it all the time with their practices.

Don’t fall in love with any one deal.

Find alternatives.

Don’t signal neediness.

Find a strategic buyer.

Perhaps think of it this way: Your practice’s house is for sale. You don’t have to move.
