Opportunity is a funny thing because it’s always there but isn’t usually seen. That’s because it’s hiding in the problems.
Today, there is a myriad of issues facing physicians, from the push to commoditize medicine to government interference.
Too many simply focus on the problems inherent in those and other forces. A smaller subset see the opportunities for new ventures, for harnessing creative destruction, not simply falling victim to it.
Some say that Edison “stole” the idea for the light bulb. Who cares? Ideas themselves are free and for the taking. They’re like butterflies fluttering all around you, at least for a moment. Then they’re gone, for someone else to seize. Edison seized the opportunity.
Another opportunity is on its way in connection with your group’s practice. Will you seize it? Or, will you simply watch and wait and maybe plan and call a meeting or form a committee?
